I don't think it's a good idea unless one side is seriously lagging. Try doing presses with dumbbells instead. When your left fails, don't continue with your right. AY IP: Logged |

i used to have the same problem, not by that much though, funny thing i hadnt measured my left arm for 2 years, now its bigger than the right...anyway, i bet you flex your right arm alot, and if you do any heavy work like carrying stuff or something, youd use your right arm, maybe thats it IP: Logged |

I kind-of had that problem a few years back. I noticed that my right arm was much bigger than my left. I usually do everything with my right arm and decided to start trying to use my left arm instead. I started using my left arm more in everyday life such as taking out the garbage, eating, brushing my teeth, and etc... It worked, my arms are within a 1/4" of each other now. IP: Logged |

quote: During your alternating exercises, i.e. dumbell curls, dumbell shoulder press, etc. and also your one-arm exercises...start with your weakest arm first. That usually helps the lag in the weaker muscle for me. Speaking from experience of course. My left was just a little bit smaller and a lot weaker than my right. Since I am right-handed, my right arm is my dominant, more stronger arm. Which usually is the case with most people; although, there have been cases where it is not. Also try everyone else's input. It seems to pretty good advice. ------------------ IP: Logged |
