IMO... I wouldn't mess with Prednisone. It's used for many things, including chemotherapy. Prednisone is a glucocorticoid steroid, meaning it breaks down material, mainly lymphocytes. It has many common side effects, none of which are too pleasurable. Some of these are: Delayed wound healing Only if necessary by a recommendation from your MD should you take it. Just my opinion.
