I work out Mon-Thurs, i'll pick one day during weekend to run. Daily diet consists mainly of 3 cans tuna daily, 5+ egg whites, 1-2 protein shakes consisting of around 40grams protein each. Carbs mainly come from canned fruit or fat free fig newtons, i try to stay below 150g carbs a day. Im getting all together around 200grams of protein per day. This is spread out through 6 small meals.

Monday: Chest/Triceps 3 different excercises for each muscle group and 3 sets.
Tuesday: Bi's/Back 3 excercises, 3 sets
Wednesday: Calves/Hams/Quads --same as above
Thurs: Shoulders/Traps --same as above

Supplements: Z-MASS PM before bed, around 2000mg of various amino acids, and I cycle back and forth between various pro-hormone products. (Saving up for my first cycle. Figure I'm better off waiting and getting enough gear so I can do it right the first time)

Plz give comments/questions.

Well without making this a long post. Your whole way of thinking is flawed. Your diet is terrible, you can not expect to grow on what you're eating. YOu don't mention your weight but judging by what you say that you're eating I'd say you're in the 900 cals a day range. You can not cut out carbs and consume fruit as you're doing. This will spike your insulin levels and not provide enough energy for building mass. SO correct this first. Your training is almost non existent, although with your diet its about all you could do. 3 sets is hardly enough to provide any growth. Hate to bust your bubble but you should really start over.

BigPapa is right. What is your currrent weight and height. Your not eating enough
for a child. Your protein is on the right track but could go up depending on your bodyweight. Eat good carbs, Brown rice, reg rice, oatmeal. And please read, read, read all
the boards, study ask more questions. Many people will be happy to help you out. Be polite. Your first cycle will be you most important and best one. Take you time and do it right. Your workouts need to be improved also. If you want to grow like an animal.....
you must train like one at least some of the time.

Good luck.

I am about 6'2, 190lbs. I was told by one of the personal trainers up at the gym that all i needed to do was 3 different exercises for each body part and 3 sets on each exercise. Guess I was told wrong. When I eat more then what I am, I feel like i'm gaining alot of fat. I was eating more carbs and more protein but when I started gaining weight, I felt as if it was mostly fat, so I cut back.
More suggestions plz, thanks for the advice.

You might want to take meal replacements. I cannot eat 6 meals a day and the meal replacements help a lot. I personally like the n-large2 meal replacement as it tastes okay. Met-Rx is too expensive for me.

Also, what the bros above said is true. Eat more. It takes time to get adjusted to increased food intake but it'll happen eventually.

BigP was right on when he said that 3 sets is not enough, especially for legs. For squats I do 6 sets of 12-15 reps. For calves it's 5 sets of standing/sitting/donkey for 20 reps. Some may say it's too many reps but it works best for me. Also, I do 4 exercises per bodypart, 4 sets each.

Hope this helps.

if you have a few years behind you in training then yes your not doing enough in the weight room, if you've just started then that is a good start. if the second one is the case then wait a couple of years before you hit the AS.

I usally do 3-4 exersises per muscle with about 14-18 sets, twice a week or once every 5 days.

You need to eat a more balanced diet. Get some fat in there, otherwise your body will hold onto those carbs that you do eat and turn those into fat for reserves. If you tell your body that some fat will be there at each meal, then your body will not need to store as much.

Also, eat a variety of carbs, but not too much of them. Include some complex carbs, such as whole wheat, potatoes, brown rice, etc., staying away from the processed crap like white bread, sugar, etc. The fruit you're eating is good, but eating just that will, like above, spike your insulin levels with all that simple sugars.

I'd also save your money and avoid the pro-hormones in general. They really don't work all that great and they can do more harm to the system than good.

Hope this helps.
