Ok all you bro's who smoke, I quite 2 days ago and so far it has not been too hard except after I eat, so when I eat I fight the urge even more and when I win that battle I feel that I have done something. I have not cheated and don't plan on it, I have even been under a lot of stress and won the battle of smoking...so you bros who smoke give it a try, I have been smoking since about 17 and I am 38 now so if I can do it you bros can too ------------------ IP: Logged |

Good job man! Don't give up the fight! I quit about six years ago -- one of the hardest things I've done. I still occasionally get the urge. One of the things that was really pivotal for me was, after about a week off (of smokes), I was at a party (beer, etc.), I was craving a cig so bad -- was just about to crumble -- when one of my buddies looked at me and said "let's see how strong you are" I attribute him with a big part of my quitting. If you get desperate, puff on cigars until you can quit completely -- but DO NOT give yourself ANY excuse to have even one smoke. Good luck, stay strong! IP: Logged |

Great job dude. 5 years out and your health risks of having smoked are almost nil. Food will taste much better in just a few weeks too. Carrots will taste like Haagen Daaz because your taste buds will become much more sensitive. I never really smoked cigarettes, but from the time I was 12 until I was 17 I smoked pot several times a day, day in and out. I too am 38 and certaintly don't miss it. IP: Logged |

Great job stick with it. I recently quit and i can tell you this man; the first two days were quite easy. People may disagree with that but i'll tell you why it was so easy; I still had the drive to quit in my mind to motivate me! Its after a few weeks when the cravings somewhat die and you are at a party or bar that really test your courage! You feel like, "Oh just one cigarette wont hurt me" I swear just NEVER even have one or you will get hooked again, and also feel really guilty afterwards. IP: Logged |

There is no way you can be a health person or even a self-proclaimed bodybuilder and smoke!!!...and don't give me that shit of how juice is worse than smoking. Smoking makes you look disgusting, you smell, and looks stupid all around. Take control of your life, man! ...addiction is a sign of weakness and the inability to take charge of your life. Don't let something as ridiculous as nicotine ruin what you work hard to achieve...a healthy all-around lifestyle. IP: Logged |

I know Bad Brains personally. He is tough enough to make it work and quit completely. I just quit 3 months ago( cold turkey after about 15 years of daily smoking) and now I have zero cravings for it, the smell alone makes me sick to my stomach. Hey Brains, stick it out bro. IP: Logged |

yep, i quit 5 months ago,i can breath again, but now i chew. Don't say it's disgusting untill i invade your airspace either. But i do need to quit. Only started using tobacco at all about four years ago, and it's even tough for me to quit. So good luck, and wish me luck. ------------------ IP: Logged |
