I finished week 6 of my cycle last Friday and wanted to share my experience. For those who haven't seen my prior posts on this issue, this is a summary of my cycle:

10 week cycle
reforvit (weeks 1-5) 50,75,75,50,25mg/daily
sust 1000mg/week (weeks 1-10)
ultragan 400mg/week (weeks 5-10)
clomid 100mg/day (weeks 11-12)
clomid 50mg/day (week 13)

clomid every other day throughout the cycle

My progress so far:

start: 245 pounds
week 1: +10 pounds (255)
week 2: +18 pounds (263)
week 3: +23 pounds (268)
week 4: +26 pounds (271)
week 5: +30 pounds (275)
week 6: +34 pounds (279)

GAINS: I've continued to increase the poundage on all movements. I keep waiting to hit a sticking point, but I've been fortunate enough to push beyond boundaries with every workout. My most impressive gain, as I discussed in a post last week, is my bench press. My flat bench has increased from a pre-cycle max of 315 for 3 reps to 2 reps at 405. I train my chest tonight, and I feel great today.....I will push beyond 405.

My physique is developing very well, I'm adding quality size all over. Family and friends comment every day. I wear a suit to work, but Fridays are business casual. I wore a polo to work on Friday and had 5 co-workers comment on my size.

SIDE EFFECTS: I've finally won the war on acne. The combination of daily indoor tanning, Neutrogena Body Clear body wash, frequent showers, and rubbing alcohol wipe downs really did work for me.

I started experiencing some discomfort from my kidneys a few days ago. I felt tightness in the lower back, cramping around the ribs in my back, and spasms from the kidneys. I increased my water intake drastically and I'm feeling much better. E2 suggested a gallon of cranberry juice per day as well, and I'll start that today.....thanks E2!!

4 weeks of growing to go........I'll keep you all posted.

SSMAN,

Sounds like you're growing like crazy! How often do you work each bodypart? Your recoup. time must be really great to sustain those kind of increases -

Keep us posted and keep up the great work! That's got to be exciting as hell!

Ssman, have you considered ruinning the EQ for a few more weeks after the sust to help maintain/solidify gains? I'm not 100% sure on this but that's how I would do it, let me know what you think.

I train each major muscle group once per week. I train with incredible intensity, so it takes every bit of a week for complete recovery. Here's my current training schedule:

day 1: chest
flat bench barbell press 4 x 8-10 reps
incline barbell press 4 x 8-10 reps
decline barbell press 4 x 8-10 reps

day 2: back
T bar rows 4 x 8-10 reps
lat pulldowns 4 x 8-10 reps
dumbbell rows 4 x 8-10 reps
deadlifts 3 x 8-10 reps

day 3: off

day 4: shoulders
dumbbell overhead press 4 x 8-10 reps
front lateral raise 4 x 8-10 reps
side lateral raise 4 x 8-10 reps
upright rows 4 x 8-10 reps

day 5: legs
leg extensions 4 x 8-10 reps
squats 4 x 8-10 reps
leg press 4 x 8-10 reps
leg curls (hamstrings) 4 x 8-10 reps
standing calf raises 3 x 8-10 reps
donkey calf raises 3 x 8-10 reps
seated calf raises 3 x 8-10 reps

day 6: arms
standing straigh bar curls 3 x 8-10 reps
close grip bench press 3 x 8-10 reps
alternating dumbbell curls 3 x 8-10 reps
overhead press 3 x 8-10 reps
cable curls 3 x 8-10 reps
pushdowns 3 x 8-10 reps
wriste curls 3 x 15 reps
reverse wrist curls 3 x 15 reps

day 7: off

I train abs on all training days.

All sets are "working" sets.....I do warm-up sets prior to any hard sets. On the last excercise and set for each muscle I go to complete failure. I will literally not be able to do another rep.....even with assistance. I have also been working in forced negatives on my heavy days.....that's stimulated muscle fiber I never knew existed.

Ranger.....you've got it backwards bro.....you're the man I would trade half my bench press increase and 10 pounds for your talent as a poet.......hehehehe!! How are you recovering?

As for before and after pics, they will find their way onto the board in July....stay tuned.

My body fat pre-cycle was 15% and I'm currently at 14.7%. I don't feel the I've had any significant reduction in body fat. With the added weight from muscle and water retention, fat makes up a lesser percentage of my overall weight.

My post cycle goal is to maintain my gains (my goal is 80% retention after water loss), lose the water retention (10-15 pounds), and strip away excess body fat (22 pounds). I'm excited to see the end result.....it should leave me around 230-235 @ 6 - 7%.

Then it will be time to bulk again
