I just recieved a notice from the US post office stating they attempted to deliever an express mail package today. It also states a signature is required....is this a normail procedure for an express mail package? The package was sent express mail because my order was screwed up somehow (as usual with these off shore sources) and took an extra 3 weeks to arrive. Should I sign for it or just let it go?

It's up to the sender, they pay an extra buck to make sure you sign for it That way they
know if you got the goods or not.

thanks jim, I was sweating it there for awhile. The source I use is offshore and states he doesn't not require signatures for his packages. He now has a domestic supplier working for him who may have sent it express due to the fact that it was well overdue. Anyone else know why I should need to sign for an express mail package?

dude, I would NOT sign for it. If he waived the signature, then they should NOT be asking you to sign it. Don't chance it..find out from your source if he waived the signature request. ALWAYS have your source waive signature requests.
