My wife is thinking of doing a Clen only cycle to cut up and she has asthma. I did some searching on the board and found that some people who had asthma had actually gotten their doc to perscribe Alupent which is metaproterenol. Alupent seems to have the same results as Clen but only in the oral form (not the inhaler). Anyway, I found sources that indicated Alupent was a sulfa drug and my wife has severe allergic reations to sulfa drugs. All of this got me wondering if Clen contains sulfa. Does anyone know? If not, has anyone who has a sulfa allergy ever taken Clen and how did you react? Any info would be appreciated. [This message has been edited by Wood_Rooster (edited June 09, 2000).] IP: Logged |

Clenbuterol is not a sulfa drug. Sulfa drugs are mostly used to treat fungal and urinary tract infections, leprosy, and ulcerative colitis, not asthma. If she takes it, get ready for her to be a little jittery, at least for the first few days. IP: Logged |
