Im a 17m and love to lift. I got a couple questions, no im not on steroids, but the other rooms are so dead, I figured you guys would know cause you all went threw it. First of all, how many grams of creatine, glutamine do you guys recommend. I weight 240lbs, lineman for high school ball. I dropped 45lbs in about 3 to 4 months, so I dropped alot of weight. I had surgery on my shoulder about 8 months ago, serious couldnt lift anything for like 3 to 4 months. Ive only been lifting for about 4 months now. My bench is at 265 right now, but thats low, I need it higher. I would like to be up to 300lbs by the time fb starts, and more then 400lbs on squat, right now I squat 370lbs. Any advice would be appreciated. And no steroids arnt a option, I dont have the money and feel too young to be into that. Maybe when im in college.

Are you eating 6-10 meals a day? DOuble your carbs if your protein is high enough. Go with oats, grits, rice, pasta, anything clean. Don't overtrain and lift low reps for multiple sets with long rests in between. Stay away from cutting up because that will also cut up your strength gains. Glutamine orally didn't do anything for me, but some guys swear by it so they'll have to fill you in. Go with the basic creatine load and maintain it. Take some Vit C at up to 5g/ed and SLEEP well! Go easy on thew brew and the most important thing is to be consistent! When I was in High School trying to get big for football I would go one day tons of kcals and the next day 12 shots of vodka and 2 slices of pizza, and I also overtrained like a madman. COnsistency is the key and very few supplements, other than creatine, possibly glutamine, and good fats will help so DON"T WASTE YOUR $$$$!!! Especially on Andro or norandro or any of that shit. Try some of these tips and come back when three a days start, you'll see! Oh yeah, DRINK TONS OF WATER!!! 1, 2, even 3 gallons a day! And fucj those blond cheerleaders!

Im way to flabby right now though. And I will fuck the blond cheerleaders, jk. So wouldnt it be bad to take in alot of carbs. Only supplements im taking in right now is Creatine, glutamine, Whey protein, and for now xenadrine, but after this cycle im done with that. Some multivitamins and other shit. I drink about a gallon in a half a day. Lately not as much cause of exams, cant leave to piss. And I hate holding it.

Well miracles never ceace. Did I read that right, did he say steroids aren't an option. You mean there is actually 1 kid his age that is really using his head? Great news my boy. Use creatine at 10 grams a day, use L-Glutamine between 10-20 grams a day. Make sure you do these in divided doses, say like 5 grams at a time. Like Matty said, EAT, EAT, EAT!!! Then LIFT!!! Then SLEEP!!!

Thanks for the help guys, on hard days should I take 20g of glutamine and light like 10. Im 6'2" at 240lbs, I have a big build, what type of weight would be good. Im not eating alot of carbs lately, that might be the cause of me being so tired. I always get 8 to 10 hours of sleep a night. But not as much energy. Just curious, how much do you guys spend a month on gear.

As for spending our money. I just want to say most of us dont spend it on ciggarets, beer,
crack, cocaine or Jenny Craig.

Glad to see you're using your noodle. What we spend on juice is not important. It will be more expensive by the time your ready for it anyway. Take it easy on the shoulder. You don't want to re-injure it. Take 5 grams in the morning, and another 5 after you work out. Mix it with grape juice. That was my personal fav. Use apple juice if you want. Drink about 16 ounces of fruit juice after your workout anyway. Your muscles will soak up the carbs from it. Then in about an hour, hour n a half, eat a good protein meal, or drink a shake. Eat six meals a day, so your body can absorb the nutrients. Keep the fat intake around 15%. Keep your protein about 1 gram per pound per day.Make up the rest of your diet in carbohydrates. Stick with complex carbs, like oatmeal, pasta, rice, and some breads. You can also get some simple carbs with fruit, & fruit juices. Good protein includes skinless turkey, eggwhites, chicken breast, lean cuts of beef, & a good whey- or egg based protein powder. Switch your protein up with every meal. For breakfast eat 6-10 eggs, oatmeal, 1-2 whole wheat toast and fruit. For the next 4-5 meals eat a different protein with two diff. complex carbs. You can sub with a shake for one or two meals if you're short on time.Make sure you take a good multivitamin/mineral with your breakfast. If you have the extra money from a summer job, try taking amino acids. Drink as much water as you can. Don't ever let yourself get thirsty. If you can drink a shake or have a protein meal before you go to bed. It helps me sleep better at night, and sometimes I don't wake up hungry at night. But most of all get plenty of rest, and don't overtrain. Find out what works for you. Keep a log of your work outs weight lifted and how it felt. This is the best way to figure out which combination of sets reps weights and time off in between work best for your body. Keep track of that log and it will help you in the future.Find your own path, and don't be afraid to follow it. Set your goals and follow your dreams. You are not a sheep, and you don't need a shepard. Listen to your heart and you want go wrong. Good luck little Bro. Keep using your noodle. Hang around if you want. If you start your research on juice now, you'll be hell on wheels when you are old enough. It's good to see an educated teen for a chnge. Good luck.
