Is F***ing killing me. I ended cycle about 1.5 week ago and I can hardly lift a book without sharp pain in forearm side of elbow. I know that in a cycle the musscle tissue grows much faster that connective tissue and that is where the damage is from. Ice/heat/massage/advil all help a little but the pain is still there and all i can do is legs and abs in the gym. Any ideas????

Had the same thing, and from reading the boards, it's pretty common. I got mine from heavy skull crushers. Doctor called it tennis elbow, and said it was caused by the upper forearm muscles being weaker than the lower (under) forearm muscles. Causes havoc in the ligaments around the elbow. Mine went away after a while...take Aleve.

I have something similar - I'm less concerned about the pain (fucking OWWW!!!) than with any potential long-term damage. Anyone know anything about that?

Are you guys taking creatine? It tends to dry out ligament and tendons so healing takes longer and injury is easier.

I had this two years ago. If it is tennis elbow, you should very careful or be prepared
to live with it for the rest of you life.
Mine is completely gone now, no more pain.
You have to avoid anything that makes it hurt. Change your gripp and angle. I had
3 cortesone(spelling?) injections. But those
are not good for you either. It took almost
8 month before I was without discomfort.
Start out with light weights. Your tendons
have no blood supply. They get their nurishment from moving within the tissue.
Depending on how sevier your injuries are
this may not apply to all of you.

Good luck.

Morereps says it well. I might add that you
figure exactly which exercise(s) are causing it the most. I though mine was from skull crushers, but was in fact from doing too much on the bench press.
