Besides burning bodyfat, cardio strenghtens your heart. That pretty much sums up how important it is. I hate doing it, but usually do it at least 3 times per week. Wear headphones or get on a machine next to a hot chick.

Try doing 15 minutes of cardio every other day on the treadmill at a high varience speed example: 7mph for 2 minutes, then 10mph for 2 minutes, then 7 mph for 2 minutes and so on.... High intesity for short period of time can have a better impact on your cortisol levels and will improve your bodies ability to recuoerate from weight training. I hope your not lifting every day, you should fill in the non lifting days with 20 minutes of cardio you will feel a 100X better and it's also a good way to start off your weight training to keep your heartrate up...I think it is essential most real bodybuilders will agree

cardio is the most important aspect of exercize there is!!! it not only aerobic, meaning it strengthens the heart and lungs but its also anarobic, meaning its a form of resistance training! it tones the legs calves and glutes! and if you want that look like someone stuck a high powered vaccum up your ass , and sucked out all your air to give you that vaccum packed shredded look! cardio and diet is the tools!

i do 45min of cardio everyday, wether its walking or running or both, some people dread cardio???? to me i look forward to it! and do it 1st thing when i get to the gym!!

Ok gentlemen a quick lesson on the importance of cardio in less than 100 words. Cardiovascular activity improves circulation. Once circulation improves the transfer of nutrients/juice/etc is also improved and made more efficient. Thusly, nutrients and more of them make it to the muscle. This all equals our primary goal, TAAADAAA MUSCULAR HYPERTROPHY. WHOOHOO
