My right and left shoulder are messed up. I took a month off and lost 15lbs. My shoulders started to feel a little better but now they are back to where they were in the beginning. If any of you know anything I can do to help them out let me know. Thanks

Time off (maybe months depending on how bad they are) and then take an hour with an experienced trainer or sports rehab to get some exercies to strengthen them. I've found exactly what you're experiencing, they only get worse until you take enough time off to completely heal.

Bro, I have a slight tear in my right rotator. I went to rehab and they had me do rotator cuff exercises. I only went to one session, but I keep up with the exercises at the gym. I do them before shoulder and chest trainer. This warms up the rotator cuffs and also helps to make them stronger. I do the exercises on the cable stack. I adjust the pull to just higher than waist hieght. I use a stirup handle. I just use one plate, that is all you'll need. I position myself side-ways to the stack. I do the external and internal rotations. Do the external, then the internal, back to back for one arm and then go to the other. Work in the 12-15 rep range. Keep the movement really, really strict. No jerking!! This is not a mass exercise, this is to strengthen the rotator cuff. I've been doing these for the past couple of months and still only do on plate(10lbs) on the cable stack. I see many guys putting 2 or 3 plates on and then jerking their entire bodies. Don't do this. Keep it very strict and slow. You'll feel the burn only in the delt. Since I've been doing them, it has helped enormously. I don't have the pain that I had. Also, on any of your pressing movements that hurts your shoulders, back off and stay at a higher rep range. This will help alot too. Hope this helps. Any other questions please email me.

I had good results with massage therapy, and the exercises. But find a mass. therapist who will do deep tissue massage, not one who does relaxation massages mainly. The deep tissue people w'ont even waste their time on relaxation massages. A 10lb bag of ice on each shoulder, 20 seconds on, 20 seconds off for as long as you can stand it really helps.
