I finished my cycle about a month ago, and for the past couple of days I can't seem to get going in the gym. I figured once I got there I would be able to jump right in and vigorously commence with my training, I have been wrong. I am taking St John's Wort at 600mg/day, started that stuff just before the cycle ended and I don't think it's helping. Any suggestions? IP: Logged |

Sounds like a mild crash to me. Have you tried the clomid? I had the same problem and I have been downing the tribulis and I think it has helped. IP: Logged |

its typical after a cycle , even more so if you made great gains on it. after my first i figured id be huge forever and i took a break from the gym for a couple of weeks , when i tried to go back it was either half assed efforts or i didn't even make it at all. dont waste you time with st johns wart because its just psychological. the only way to beat it is GET BACK TO THE WEIGHTS!! after awhile youll be your old self again and youll be ready for yopur next cycle. as far as motivation is concerned - look at yourself in the mirror , choose a body part that you think needs some work and go kill it. good luck dude. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Try Proviron and Nolvadex at 50/20mg pr day. Add in 100mg/d of clomid as well. This will almost eliminate your estrogenic behaviour. I can guarantee this will help after just a few days! JR IP: Logged |

Proper dose for St. Johns Wort is 900mgs a day and it can take up to a full 6 weeks to kick in. IP: Logged |

I've heard of this in a lot of cases, many people experience this after an AS cycle. Get plenty of sleep and stay away from the booze (alcohol is a depressant). Work in some cardio or sports, and if it keeps up for about a month see your doctor for some antidepressants. IP: Logged |

I did clomid throughout the cycle and increased the dose at the end. I haven't tried the proviron/nolvadex however. I appreciate the input, thank you all. IP: Logged |

Might try a major change in your routine also. Try something new. After that try the clomid or head straight to the Zoloft. IP: Logged |

Been there done that, clomid does have it's own mild estrogen effect's that's why it blocks the estrogen break down of various anabolics from hitting your receptors and really stops a major crash. I did two weeks of clomid post cycle, but between job burnout and depression, I had to see my Dr, and go on antidepressants, I think it was bound to happen cycle or no cycle... even worse then I ever expected. Every thing is cool now though...SEE YOUR DOCTOR IF IN DOUBT. Everyone I know has been depressed at least once in their life, it's part of life bro. In some cases you need a little help. Oh yeah, stay clear from these 2 antidepresants, celexa, and prozac, if your depressed now, just wait till your willy does not ring your bell anymore, common side effect on males on this shit. It will rise, but no fun if you get my drift. If you have a woman in your life she will be most diffently be most unsatisfied from the sides from either of these two. Yeah, you need at least 900mg of St. John's wart to get any effect. ------------------ IP: Logged |

try some injectable B12. That will help with metabloism of carbs thereby giving you more energy. Some doctors also say it can help some with mild depression. I would try 1000mg eod for two weeks then maintain with once a week. A friend of mine got a doctor to give hime some inj. magnesium with the B12 and he says he felt the results the next day! Hope that helps and good luck! IP: Logged |

I can't make any prescriptions. Seems like others have given some good advice. Personally, in my post-cycle state I'm shooting B-12, taking Clomid, taking Clen, taking Tribestan, and I've got four bottles of Proviron ready to use in the next couple of weeks. And, yeah, some days I don't feel too motivated to go to the gym. But I force myself, saying "Just get to the damned gym. That's the priority mission. You may not have the best workout, but you'll feel better afterwards (I always do) and it will help you." The most important thing in my opinion is GETTING YOUR ASS TO THE GYM. Maybe the vigor isn't there now, but that will change. It simply must change. You are at the gym for a reason; that reason must be positive. But if you lose your motivation to get to the gym...that's a lot worse. You will get through this period. IP: Logged |
