Does anyone know what affects (if any)injected testosterone or any 17aa steriod will have on Inflammatory Bowel Diseases such as Chronn's disease or Ulcerative Colitis? These 2 conditions consist of inflammation of the inner walls of the Colon which causes blood and mucous in stool, diarrehea, and stomach cramps. Different people who have either of these conditions suffer from many other symptoms as well. Symptoms vary from case to case. IP: Logged |

It shouldnt affect the condition per se, but the real question is interaction with any medications used to treat the condition. It WILL cause problems with anticoagulants and corticosteroids. So it would depend on that, too. IP: Logged |

Hey Monster, Could you elaborate on the type of problems that could occur if someone was taking Prednisone (corticosteroid) for their colitis condition and at the same time doing a cycle of test. IP: Logged |

I dont think it is a good idea to use anything else while on Prednisone. A few years ago I had to take it for about 6-8 months and it really messed me up. It took a year for my Liver to get back to normal as Pred kills your liver. It also made me gain at least 50 pounds of bad weight. I lossed it pretty fast though once I stopped. I would think it would be a good idea to take care of your problem which you need the prednisone for before using gear. Actually you should take some time to get your liver back to normal before starting. Hope this helps. IP: Logged |
