One of my buddies has a slight thyriod problem and he has to take T4 to help his metabolism. He wants to go on a cutting cylce and was thinking about using some clen and upping the dosage of his T4 to speed up fat loss. Will this work or will the conversion from T4 to T3 just be slowed or stop and reall fuck him up? IP: Logged |

personally i don't fuck w/ the thyroid shit...but i think he should take care of the problem before he adds to it...he has to prioritize either get the prob fixed or lose fat...it never works out in bb to use short cuts and this is...fix the problem first... IP: Logged |

T4 during a diet is problematic, due to the fact that conversion to the active form, T3, is reduced under low calories. Ephedrine, and possibly Clenbuterol, have been shown to increase the conversion of T4 to T3, but after time this is downregulated, also. IP: Logged |

I don't have a thyroid problem, my buddy does. He has to supplement with additional T4, because his body doesn't produce enough of it's own. The problem can't be fixed. He'll be taking it till he's 100. All I want to know is if upping his normal dose of T4 slightly will help him on a cutting cycle with some clen. If it will help, what doses are we talking about??
