A little off the subject but someone actually put a plastic explosive on my car and it Blew Shotgun pellets into my chest leg and turned my hand into ground beef....no shit...AT work..(I think one of my employees did it, I have 300) FBI Brought in and everything.. Even inocent bystanders were hit near the eye area. My brand new 2000 elcipse is fucked. And I never would have expected it... I'm bleeding and bandaged all over and I'm scared to drive to my own office now. If I was'nt 45-50 lbs heavier (over the last year) who knows what might have happened!!!!! SWEAR TO GOD this is true. I live in UTAH so you people in UT can see it on the news.....Don't ever take life for granted. And who knows what a little lifting and eating can do for you... IP: Logged |

I used to own a small business with a few employees. I tried to be a good boss. I gave tremendous Christmass bonuses - seriously some got like $1,000. It was not uncommon for me to give mid year perks for good production like a weekend trip for two to the nicest luxury hotel in the area with all things covered (food , massages, activities etc). But there are times people have to go. I always worried about sexual harrassment suits, etc. One girl I fired had a husband who was a local cop - I sort of semi-expected to be pulled over, some meth placed in my car by him, then get beaten up and have him report I had resisted arrest. When I sold that biz in 1998 I promised I would never have employees again. But after blowing money on two bad business start ups I am looking at buying an existing business again that has employees. I kind of look forward to it (and to making a profit again for the first time in a long time) but also dread it (working for a living again and having to manage employees). Man, your story is hard to believe. Sorry to hear it happen. Employees at some level often resent the boss. But he has to have rules. Bosses usually try to be good since they realize if their employees are happy they will get better work out of them. A bad boss just cuts his own throat. So I am sure if you are successful (and with that many employees I am sure you are),you have tried to make it worth your employees while to work hard. Man, what a crazy thing. IP: Logged |

Sorry to hear it bro, some one shot out a window at my office this year, not a good feeling bro...Utah has some employers that manufacure plastic explosives, Morton Thycol (sp?) and another company which I can't recall makes airbags which are fired by explosives,All quary operations should be checked out as well as any military facilities. I think all they should be checked out for missing materials. You should get a bullet resistant vest too, I have no doubt you have a good idea of who the perp is, I would take this as some serious shit and arm accordingly...Don't wait for the cops, they'll just show up in time to put you into a bag, they are just to ineffecient to prevent any more attempts on your life.
