So one IU of hgh is equal too 1 cc, so if you take 4 iu of hgh a week your taking 4cc is that right. Will IP: Logged |

There are exactly 2.7iu in 1mg. The IU measurment represents the concertration of the substance inside of the total solution. ------------------ IP: Logged |

This is an interesting question. If Humatrope 5mg=15iu as printed on the box, and the bacteriostatic dilute is 3cc's, then 1cc would equal (in this 5mg concentration) 5iu's. Right? So, arent the iu's of active ingredient measured by the concentration and amount of dilute??? IP: Logged |

Humatrope gives you 5ml(cc) of dilute to mix with the powder. So, after you reconstitute it you have 15 I.U of mixed GH divided by 5ml. So, in each ml(cc) you have 3 I.U. The units to measure insulin are different. You have unit's marked off on an insulin needle that you usr to measure the amount you want to take. It is not equal to an I.U. (international unit) it is just a "unit" to measure the proper amount of insulin you are taking. So, for example if you are using an insulin needle for Humatrope, you would fill it to 100 "unils" as measures on the insulin needle which is equal to one ml(cc) and in this case is also equal to 3 I.U. The I.U. is dependent on the amount of liquid mixed with the particular compound. So, to use our example again, if you mixed the dilute with the powder in the Humatrope and only used 3ml(cc) you would have 5 I.U. for each ml(cc). Hope this clears things up IP: Logged |
