I did 13 sets of squats on monday and its friday and my legs are still really sore. I was able to do so many heavy sets without getting tired because I recently started creatine and 4-anrodiol. I can really tell the difference. Is it bad that they are still sore? Are they still recovering and building muscle? I'm worried that this long soreness means I will not get any gains.

most likely they are just sore because you worked them harder than they have been worked. You possibly overworked them though. Do some good quad stretches and maybe some walking on te treadmill, the soreness will get better.

Temporaily start using a mild dose of anti-imflamatory med before you workout and before bed. It will reduce cortisol levels and post workout soreness by combating the imflamation process. Most people still believe its the lactic acid buildup but it is actually muscle swelling in an attempt to heal the tears you created during lifts. Increase your water intake and use 1 aleve before and after your lifts. Stretching the muscle group and light cardio work will also aid in reducing soreness. Assuming your diet isn't the problem then this will allow for faster recovery times.

I hear you bro I did 10 sets of squats on tuesday and my legs are tight as hell. I think it is good to every once in a while to shock a muscle group with lots of sets. I read some arnold stuff saying that him and his buddies would drag a squat rack out into the woods and do 50 some odd sets to shock their legs. My 2 cents

peace
