I have always had a hell of time getting development in my calves due to orthopedic problems (I have some ugly ass specially made Otomix shoes that I train in)...the only time they really blow up is on an oxymetholone cycle. Anyway, have any of you bros tried strength shoes in addition to your normal calves routines. IP: Logged |

When I was training for football I was doing plyometrics with the strength shoes. They increased my vertical tremendously, but I didn't really gain any size on my calves. IP: Logged |

I have used them before and I think they did help out a little for size, not a great amount though but i did get some from them, be carefull a friend of mine had problems with his achilles from using them too much and not doing proper warmups though. IP: Logged |

They should help with developing good shape and definition, not size though...you need weight on your calves for size...the strength shoe was designed for athletes to increase time in the 40 yard dash and to increase their verticle jump. It works the fast twitch fibers which provide explosive power necessary for certain sports...Traditional bodybuilding excercises add great size, but do little for athletic performance. IP: Logged |

im not saying this will work for everyone but it did for me. i needed to tone up my calves for basketball season. the only supplement i used was ephedrine. it made my cardio workouts fucking intense. gave me a really pumped feeling like i could run forever. i love that shit. i did alot of uphill sprints and just plain plyometrics. no special shoes or anything. i gained about 4 inches on my vertical in one month and my calves were toned as fuck.
