Now we all know that the possibility exist, that if you dont' take proper precautions or if something horrible goes wrong you could end up sterile, what i'm wondering is if there are any of you lads who are sterile and do you think it was because of steroids, or some other factor? If it was steroids how did this come to be? what did you do that messed you up?

I am sterile but not because of A/S. I used to smoke when I was younger which I believe had a big impact. I think it is one things that just has chance of happening to everyone. I have read that pollution in area's effects people.

yes, did a lot of damage, because i didnt read up on a.s. several years ago, and was dumb and thought more a.s. was better (did cycle for 18months) gained 36 pds and retained 28pds. anyway i,m 43 now and dont want any more kids anyway.

i'm sterile because of a vascetomy i always wondered if since the body stops producing sperm after a couple of years after (thats why reversals only work up to 6 years after) that the body will have more protein to use to build muscle.

I'm almost 44, and could care less if I am, children were never a plan for me, too many frigging people on the planet, shit it ought to be a mandate in China and India any way.
Painkiller how could you not know? It's a surgery that cut's the tube to your nuts so you can't pass sperm to a women, you need some sex ed man! Don't you know the facts of life dude? I can't believe in the 21st century you don't know what a vasectomy is. There is an arguement against the proceedure causeing coronary scaring that can lead to heart desease though, to bad Dexter, talk to your Dr about it and not the one who did it or recommended it for you at twenty three.I would gladly do it at my age, shit I might be shooting blanks any way and would be glad if I was, easier birth control and less worry when with a woman..

Another fact is....that I'm from Norway and up here we call it "sterilisering", that's pretty different than the word "vasectomy", isn't it?!?

I am very interested in this one also. I have asked similar questions in the past and I can't seem to get a good answer. People have told me that they got their wifes pregnant while on cycles but your humpin' so much the law of odds is definately on the side of getting pregnant. we should keep bumping this one till we get some good info.

there are precautions you must take,look at flex wheeler hes got 2 kids,and the fucker is on everything but the kitchen sink,so it can be avoided.unfourtanetly i dont know yet...

Yeah I think I might be but not from the AS. I think I picked something up along the way from a chick I was bangin without anything, but I could be wrong - just don't want to find out till I need to know. Yes, gentlemen, it was at age 23.

The Air Force doctors adamantly refused to do it, saying I should be at least 35 and have two children.

So I went off-base to a private doc. He did it.

Always figured I could adopt if I ever wanted children. And the ladies have never complained (even though my first ex-wife now has a daughter). No regrets.

Hey no offence Painkiller, but with Norway being a somewhat sexually progressive country, any way you put it, sterilization or vasectomy, it all means essentially the same thing for males, and historectomy for women. Not sterile, but have an interesting observation. I was on a cycle when we concieved our first son. I was clean for 2 years when we concieved our second son. The first boy has grown like a weed, at 8yrs old he's 4'8" and 95lbs. (remeber I'm only 5'6.5") Not fat, just thick, wide shoulders, small hips and the most muscular calves you've ever seen on a kid. He excels at every sport he plays. Our second boy is the "Peanut" of the family. Short for his age group, under weight also, have to force him to eat, etc. Has a lot of heart when playing sports but stuggles cause of his size. Maybe a coincidence but it makes you wonder, given the difference between the two of them. Maybe I've stumbled onto the secret of the "Master Race", hehehe!!!!

It's funny that people can have such different opinions about this. I for one would be happy if I was sterile, and I'm only 19. I know others are going to freak about this. My parents freaked when I told them I should just get a vasectomy.
But shit, I spent $20 on condoms the other day- sex isn't even free.
Seriously, I just don't want kids- EVER. I think the world has a population problem too. But I'm glad my dad didn't feel the same as I do when he was 19.

I was sterile after several years of steroid use even though i cycled. I went to an endocrinologist because my wife and I wanted kids. Doc put me on clomid 25 on 5 off and I was normal 5 months later

I am sterile, had a bilateral hernia as a youngster. The doctor said I may or may not be able to have kids - thirty six years later and I can't have kids. Hey natedawg, I didn't want kids when was 19 either, your opinions might chnage with age, they did for me. We are now trying to adopt.
