doing some low intensity cardio is always good to keep the blood pressure under control. i dont think running is the best option. i prefer treadmill walking. low intensity for longer duration.

I also like to run a lot. It will get you in the best cardio shape of your life in my opinion and burn fat galore. But it is also taxing on the body making it harder to recuperate and make the best muscular gains. Running 30 minutes 3 times a week should be okay any more and you are starting to hurt your other goals in my opinion. 45 minutes on incline treadmill going fast is a great fat burner especially first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and won't negatively effect your recuperative ability. Spin bike is low impact and excellent to. Cardio will help you sleep better and make your whole body operate more efficiently thus promoting better gains from the lifting and nutrition.

I prefer 10 minutes of high intensity cardio right before lifting sprint on the treadmill for 10-12 minutes at an average of 7-10 mph up and down it will help make your workouts more intense and your body will not lose any anaolic effects
