Hey guys im in college, I was coming home for the summer yesterday my parents noticed that i had out on considerable size, a whole 30 pounds of it they asked if i was on anything i said no just eatin a lot and training hard, then when we were packing up my shit they came across a pin wrapper, my dad being a doctor knew exactly what it was, to say the leats they are very unhappy with me and are taking me to a drug counselor next week. ------------------ IP: Logged |

To compare roids to street drugs is preposterous and your Dad being a Dr should know the differance, shit it's all political and he damn well knows it. Like Moe said welcome to hell, the next thing he'll be doing is checking you for needle marks every freaking week and running blood work ups on you every week to see if your on again, how old are you, and when do you turn twenty one and get out of college? Then you can say thank you to them and strike out on your own...Sorry to hear it..that sucks, I mean why do they have to help you unpack for gods sake? They obviously didn't trust you, or they would have respected your privacy, I mean thats like haveing them kick your door in when your in bed with a girl friend just to make sure your useing a rubber.. I would have to say.... tell them what you are doing and that you plan to continue. Its called YOUR LIFE because you get to live it, and will accept the consequences (and really mean that). They might say Well if thats the case youg man you are on your own and we aren't paying for school (if they are). To which reply Oh whose acting mature now, not helping me finish school is going to really help me. If they cut off school funds, there are other ways to finance school. I financed my own shooling and so have many others. I have done some crazy stuff before, and still do. But I have never covered up. I may post this longer under (what do you regret and what would you change in life", but the few regrets I have are big ones...and they come from listening to what someone else has told me I SHOULD do, or following my head abouat what I SHOULD do and not my heart about what I WANT to do. I think its important to live YOUR life, be willing to take the consequences when it goes wrong..... and also take the praise when it goes right. Live YOUR life. If you feel juicing is wrong quit. If you feel its right do it. Regarding its illegality - it was illegal for women to vote, for blacks to vote etc - things only change by people standing up for whats right. If you feel it is wrong then quit now and don't sear your conscience, if it is right don't face the regrets you will have later. Of course this is just my opinion, and how I have done it in my life..... but it is YOUR life. Listen to your own inner voice and you will know what to do. IP: Logged |

I don't think any of you want to hear this but here it goes: If your parents are in any way subsidizing any of your existance, you should have the common decency and respect to not spend money (and probably a lot of money) on anything that is so against their wishes. Unless your parents are openly cool with your drug use, none of you that are supported by your parents in any way have any right partaking in such behavior. Maybe you need to turn the tables on your dad. Tell him that if he were more open as a father you could have shared your concerns and questions with him. But tell him you're sorry, you've learned your lesson, and go to all the counceling and bullshit until they're convinced you are cured of your "problem". Drug "treatment" does n't work period, when I went through 2 years of it court ordered after I picked up a dui,ten years ago, it didn't change a thing, they kept saying "it'll work if you want it to". Thats like saying if you break your leg, you don't need a cast, just faith in their lies and all will be Okay.Yeah sure, you betcha, Ha Ha.
