I dont buy the pot thing and its been debated on this board to death, so you could look in the archives. As far as Xanax goes it isn't the easiest thing for your liver to metabolize bit it wont kill ya. BUT, if youre on the gear, drinking beer, and eating Xanax, its awhole different story. ------------------ IP: Logged |

i swear by xanax, i take 1/2 of a 10mg tab eod just to help take the edge off and help with sleep! it also does wonders controling the mood swings assoc. with AS use! as far as effects on the liver i know its probably not good , but in moderation its not the worst thing for ya! think about it the acidaminafine (spelling) in tylenol is liver toxic!! i dont even use tylenol anymore!! ------------------ IP: Logged |

The medical profession has just changed their ideas on Acitaminophen and the liver. The word now is that Ibuprophen is worse for your liver as long as you don't take more than 4 ES Tylenol daily. I know this is a radical change from past theory but it is their newest info. IP: Logged |

xanex is supposed to get you off of hard drugs. prescribed for alcoholics and herion addiccts.but anyway-- sounds like every thing is hard on the liver so whats worse? a few beers-- or xanex or ibprofin---some pot or what? IP: Logged |

mild benzodiazapine use will not compromise the liver. Their general metabolism is quite easily conjugated and excreted via urine. Just dont overdo their use...you will have other more significant problems such as dependence and withdrawls IP: Logged |

Xanax is usually a blue oval shaped pill with a line in the middle,it is also called Tafil in mexico.Xanax is prescribed generally for short term insomnia,7-10 days.From personal experience it is habit forming & your body does build up a tolerance for it so be careful.Take some milk thistle to protect your liver. Hey matty I am not trying to flame ya.. but a 10mg tab that a lot of Xanax.. they usually come in .5mg 1mg, 2mg, 3mg... 5mg would knock the shit out of you... My roomate took two of my 1mg on day cause he was depressed and freaking out without asking me.. he slept for a long time.. check out your dosages.. what color are the tabs? Blue is 1mg.. white are .5... Just dont want someone taking too much. Arminius. IP: Logged |
