10 years ago I was asked to be a big brother to this 14 year old boy. His mom was a SEVERE alcoholic and violent. I mean real violent. He had been placed in foster homes before but was back home. If she screwed up again he was gone permenantly to foster care. His dad left years ago. He lived in the most violent gang ridden part of town and I did not have to go down there, except to see him. I lived in a really nice part of town that I paid for and would rather not have gone down there. His mom would sometimes need to borrow money....which I lent as long as I was assured it would not go to booze. She chased him with a butcher knife during the time I was helping him. He hid in the bathroom while she rammed it repeatedly through the closed door until she got tired and gave up. He told me about it and he could have been removed from the home if the authorities found out, but he asked me not to tell. Despite how totally f'cked up it was he wanted to stay. I took a chance and let him. There were no more incidents after I confronted her on it and let her know what would happen if she did something like that again - I would make sure she would serve time. This boy and I saw each other regularly. I gave him advice on girls, etc. Was his dad. Years went by and I moved away to a small midwestern town. I flew him out to visit. We stayed in touch. I moved back to the big city. When we get together he is now a fine young man in his mid twenties living a good life. He of course still thinks of me as his best friend in the whole world. About 5 months ago the guy tells me that he wants to try steroids. I discuss with him all the trite reasons he should not.He gave me a bunch of material to read : World Anabolic Index 1996 (?) and others. By the time I am done reading I am like....Man I want this myself. Luckily I found an MD who prescribed testo and hGH for me 10 weeks or so ago. Put on 12 LBS, can now bench 265 for 4 reps, look better, feel better, am healthier etc. 3 years previously a MD recommended I take disability due to a spinal injury - I have had the pain until I took the AS. Once on the AS the pain was 95% gone right away. So what is the point? What goes around comes around. This "kid" I helped became the inspiration for me to find out about AS and heal. If you do a good deed you never know how it will come back to you. I know this board is about roids, making fun of fat people , and flaming people who can't spell clenbuterol correctly (okay I posted some digs on clambuterol too but it was you crazy f'cks who made me do it)....... but life is too short to not have given something away. Do something nice. [This message has been edited by NoviceJuicer (edited May 27, 2000).] IP: Logged |

what goes around, comes around. now thats a load of crap, it's all in your head. if you give a homless guy $20, and the next day you win $1000, are these two things related, no! you would have won that $1000 even if you killed the man instead. ------------------ IP: Logged |

You sure you aren't taking deca too? You sound pretty emotional there. Just kiddin' bro. I've heard that gh helps injuries. I've not taken any, but heard on the board and at the gym that it helps 'em. And hey, what is the deal here? When you get older doctors just prescribe juice and gh? I've got 2 over 40 guys that workout that say there doctors prescribe them test and gh. Maybe its something to look forward to. I don't know. Just ironic. IP: Logged |

Tray.... I don't think its all in your head. And I think physics explains it. Matter cannot be created nor destroyed. Matter is just bundled energy, or energy is just fine matter. Energy cannot be created or destroyed either. Both just change forms. Electricity for example is mutated into heat, light and other forms of energy but the transformation is exactly equal. Action requires certain transfers of energy...and that action cannot be destroyed. For every action is an equal and opposite reaction. When you perform a positive action there will be a returning force of equal proportions. Whether a person is cognizant of the return is superfluous as to whether it actually happens or not. As well, in neurophysiology we know that what we think alters our chemistry. Actors hooked up to blood catheters at Arizona State University acted happy, angry, hateful or sad and there blood chemistry showed immediate consistent specific alterations. Other then the fact that all entertainers are gay, I am sure the same can be extrapolated to the larger population. Therefore the person who shows kindess by only stealing homeless mans last $20 instead of stealing it AND killing him is no doubt going to benefit from the chemical alterations that acting loving creates. Anger creates specific chemical changes that are adverse to the body. Hence type A people (I think A stands for A**hole) suffer larger amounts of plaque in their arteries and subsequently die from heart disease more often EVEN IF THEIR BLOOD CHOLESTEROL IS LOW compared to people with high cholesterol who are not type A personalities. Being kind is its own reward. IP: Logged |
