I just saw a report on chasteberry. It is used to normalize hormone levels in women. I have done some snooping on the web, but I can't figure out what it will do in a man? Anybody want to hazard a guess?? masster blasster IP: Logged |

I guess You could say I just finished my first cycle. I am on some MD prescribed Testo and HGh for "anti aging purposes". My MD does not know it but I cycled off. I used chasteberry. A friend of mine who is a NMD (naturopath) recommended it and it seemed to have worked. Chasteberry stimulates the anterior pituitary to release LH in men and women - sort of a ntural Clomid. I have been off testo now about 10 days. I wished I had taken it throughout the whole cycle. My nuts shrunk a bit - and now they are back pretty much 100%. I am going to go have my LH checked at the lab and see how well it worked. I know what my pre testo levels...so I can see what the chasteberry did. The naturopath uses it alot he says to normalize testo in old geezers. In AZ here Naturopaths can prescribe any drug...but he uses chasteberry instead of meds. I am not sure. I will start a new "cycle" soon and this time plan on trying clomid. Hey a question for you vets.... what do think of using Clomid........thats just a joke...I don't need any flame...repeat its just a joke IP: Logged |

The studies on chasteberry (Vitex cagnus) show that it has dopaminergic activity and can reduce prolactin levels. This is similar to bromocryptine and selegiline, both of which have been shown to increase gonadotrophins when prolactin levels are high. IP: Logged |
