Nubain is a fucking waste. I know I have been there. The physical part isnt that hard to kick as long as you have some Ultram ( a godsend) but the psychological aspect- almost as if you are missing a part of your life, is the real challenge. I find it disturbing when some people compare it to coming off of Heroin or even worse Methadone. Heroin withdrawal can take up to 7 days or more. Methadone withdrawal takes MONTHS. Nubain withdrawal can be overcome in a few days but, as I said the mental desire for that warm feeling, that rush is hard to give up. You dont come "hooked" for quite awhile. Once a day turned into a 5-6 injections a day. I was walking around ALL the time with a buzz. I got the 20 mg 10 ml bottles and was going thru 3 bottles in 5-7 days.It got expensive even at Mexican Prices And stadol-yeah thats even worse. Your_Moms...Do you know anything about oxycontin(oxycodene) withdraw? My friend is taking 2 40s(used to be 4 40s but he cut down), 80mg of oxy per day. Thats like 8-16 percosets for 2 months. He is tring to quit but it hard. IP: Logged |

Yes I totally believe that nubain is easy to kick the ultram is good so is haveing some glb or valium as they help sleeping what I really like is taking high doses of temgesic in the off season as it is wonderful for its anticatibolic effect aslo a very mild diretic. I then switch to nubain and come off with catapress which helps dropp that anxiety you know the I got to have some bain feeling also it releases a good amount of gh from your body. I have proven this theory because while on the serostim i got severe carpall tunell swollen hands then I stopped and it went away as soon as I started taking the catapress same feeling again with the swollen hands. MilkSter. I would say the 1st thing to do is to plan some time- a week or more (as much as you can) to detox. Second a drug like Ultram "MAY" help with opiates since it binds to the Mu (opiate receptor(s) in the brain). There are also several other types of opiate receptors in the brain that Ultram isnt going to work with so its benefit is somewhat marginal. There are detox programs where they put you under and administer Narcan I believe to "detox" you. If one where awake this would be sheer and utter hell, to the extent that you would shoot yourself in the head rather than not have opiates. Thanks for the info. I've never heard of this Narcan, sounds intresting. But going 'public' is not an option. This has to be done by himself to keep that record clean. He is down to about 40mg now without to much trouble. Waking up not feeling as bad as he used to. I was thinking about maybe some subq Nubain in the morning and at night but they say it will make him sick due to its dual nature. IP: Logged |
