I'm starting a sus d-bol cycle, 5'11'', and 170#. I want to put on a solid 20# and keep most of it. What is the best protein source to supplement my diet? I've seen twinlabs Super Gainers Fuel, which as 2600 cals and 100g of protein, but some of my friends say its shitty. They like ISOpure, but it doesn't have the cals. Damn, I just wrote this same thing out this am. Here it goes bro. Designer Protein I use 3 scoops in one shake. Thats 52.5g of protein, only 9.6 carbs and less than 3g of sugar. I drink 4 of these per day. Hope this helps. IP: Logged |

I mix ALL my protein with milk, not water. Almost a gallon a day between my shakes and what I drink with breakfast/dinner. Milk is easier to digest than most meats, though much harder to digest than whey. It also comes in a lot of variety. Mix your protien with skim milk if you don't want the cals, with 2% if you want some more, or whole milk if you want a shit load. I get my protein powder from Wal-mart. Yes I said wal-mart. They have a whey protein isolate/concentrate mix which have the highest biological values of ANY proteins. They are numbers 1 and 2 respectively. Combine that with milk, which also has a higher B.V. than ALL meats (including chicken) I had a guy try to tell me that I HAD to eat at least 3 chicken breasts a day in order to grow...but why. You have to cook chicken, that sucks. Just drink a gallon of milk a day. That's a lot easier, and better quality protien. ------------------ BIGDOG IP: Logged |

Best food sources? Chicken breasts, red meat (if you don't mind the fat) and tuna fish (right out of the can) work for me. Protein poweder? Go with whey protein, I like Honest Whey from ISP nutrition (www.thepowerstore.com). Good stuff, and I've tried them all. IP: Logged |
