How long has it taken to get over an injury. Such as a muscle strain. I have been off for about three weeks now and it seems as though I havent'gotten any better (maybe some) I have what I believe is a muscle strain in my left forearm, it got to the point that I could not do hammer curls at all. Plus it seems that the more rest I get the stiffer my ligaments/joints get. Go figure. I think I am healing (in fact I am sure of it) But still it is rather odd the process.

Just wondering what other's experience's are.

Bro a couple of years ago i had sharp pains in both forearms, about middle ways between my wrist and elbow. It was a deep stabbing pain that really hurt when i curled, any kind of curl.It felt kinda like a muscle strain but a month later the pain was still there.I went to the doc, after several tests and finally a m.r.i. he told me i had stress fractures in both forearms.I was out another month.I hope this isnt whats wrong with you,it sucked.

Hey Chesty:

I'm in the same boat as you right now. Strained something in my Bi 3 wks ago. No problem working my tri's but bench press and any type of curls kill. Also noticed that I'm a lot weaker in that arm - like 25 pounds weaker.

On a good note - Started taking Lodine and Flexeril (sp) and it's alredy helping. i used Flexeril all through my baseball days - it's a wonder drug for fast recovery.

You could tape your forearm so you cannot overload it. You will heal faster.
