Bump...Anyways, what town would be the best one to cross over? I pull my stash from a Texas border town, and its like taking candy from a baby. Just don't walk around with an attitude showing off your 20" guns and make sure you buy something to show customs, such as a handcrafted blanket. I've lived in border towns for 8 years and have crossed many many times, and have never had customs check my bag or my wife's purse. IP: Logged |

Steelheart..actually if you're busted it would be by US Customs agents, not the Mexicans, so you'd spend time in US jail if jail time was given. Most people that are busted at the border are just fined and lose their gear, unless they're trying to bring across insane amounts. To answer the original poster's question, coming across with family would make you look even less suspicious than it would be if you were coming across with a group of big guys. IP: Logged |

walk across with your wife. go into town get your gear have a few drinks, have your wife walk them back across. unless customs have a real good reason they usually leave ladies alone for fear of being sued for sexual harrasment. have an extra 500.00 dollars with you if you do get caught. if you dont have mega amounts they will just take your gear and money and send you on your way. just dont get busted twice. first one is easy! also, if you look huge there is a real good chance of being stopped. minimize your hugeness!!!!! I wouldnt worry about it. I was nervous as fuck when i went and ended up not bringing any back. Customs was a joke, they asked me if i had any anabolic steroids on me, i said no and walked on by. Im a big man, abou 6'3" 250 and they still didnt hassle me. Best way is to keep it on you, strap it around your midsection after popping the tops off and covering them with duct tape. Put stuff in a shampoo bottle. buy a couple of items to bring back across the border...just in case they ask you why you went across. look to spend a couple of days there so you can pack a duffle bag or hard case. DO NOT look all worried or they will ? you. ------------------ IP: Logged |
