this may belong on the diet board but what do you guys think of or have any experience with protien cycling, i've read after a high protien diet when you cut down to no protien all carbs, your natural secretion of gh increases dramatically

hey bro, hows the summer treatin u? alright here, hope u got some gear none here, give me an email if u got a hook up. anyway dont know about any natural secretion of anything, but i sure as hell would never be caught without protien for even one day. dont really belive in protein cycling, i try to keep it above 300 grams.

GH may increase on a low protein diet, and I assume it would to protect the muscle tissue from catabolism. If you want to look at what occurs on low protein diets, do a search on Pubmed. There are numerous studies on uremic patients and rats. They show a tremendous increase in thermogenesis, a reduction in lean body mass, a reduction in insulin and IGF levels. Not very beneficial for a bodybuilder.
