![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() this may belong on the diet board but what do you guys think of or have any experience with protien cycling, i've read after a high protien diet when you cut down to no protien all carbs, your natural secretion of gh increases dramatically IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() GH may increase on a low protein diet, and I assume it would to protect the muscle tissue from catabolism. If you want to look at what occurs on low protein diets, do a search on Pubmed. There are numerous studies on uremic patients and rats. They show a tremendous increase in thermogenesis, a reduction in lean body mass, a reduction in insulin and IGF levels. Not very beneficial for a bodybuilder. IP: Logged |
