Sounds like you need to slowly remove them from your diet...Maybe this doesn't make sense but try doing a gradual cut back week by week...Seems like if you give your body long enough to adjust eventually it will....Or maybe I'm just talking out my ass and completly off about this.....

Try this bro- eat 100 carbs or so for 3 days-then eat like 400 on the fourth day, then drop back down. Works for me when I am trying to lean out, keep doing this until you are done with your diet. Keep the protein high too, 1.5g per pound of bodyweight, keep fat low ------------------ IP: Logged |

Try taking them out completely and go ketogenic. Then just eat carbs every 7-14 days or so. After a couple weeks, you won't even miss them, even if you're a carbaholic. You'll get really lean , if you aren't already, you'll have good energy levels, and you'll make slow, but steady gains in strength and size. Plus, doing this will raise your insulin sensitivity so when you do eat carbs, your muscle cells will get more of the glucose instead of your fat cells. If you go on a cycle, just go back to carbs in your diet because you'll gain more muscle if you do. Then go back keto when you're done. Some people (most people?) have really low insulin sensitivity and/or some type of carb/gluten allergy. That's why there's so much diabeties and obesity in this country. In European and Asian countries where the diets have more fat, but less carbs (especially sugar), obesity, diabeties and heart disease are not as prevelent as in this country. That's no coincidence. High carb diets are only good for people who can process carbs well and are, therefore, naturally very lean. This condition is an evolutionary mutation, not the norm. Consider that if you lived 20,000 years ago, a high metabolisn and a propensity to not store body fat would be rather disadvantageous. Humans have not changed much physiologically since then. Try eating more fat. Good fat like almonds and olive oil and flax oil. I don't know why the guys on this board are so afraid of fat. I used to be the same way until I tied up with this national level FEMALE competitor, who I guarantee will be pro this year. She has taught me so much about bodybuilding and the body. I was the same way with the carbs and when I dieted down I lost a ton of muscle and never knew it!! If you cut the carbs you need something to replace it. You need to teach your body how to burn fat. The contest diet I am on, I am eating alot of fat, and for the first time I don't crave anything. The fat levels that I am eating are keeping the cravings away. And by the way I am down under 5% bf with 3 wks left. You gotta take in FATS!!!! IP: Logged |

I feel your pain bro, the best way to do it is a zigzag, go like 200 one day 350 the next and 400 the next and back again, works great, keeps your brain workin and best way to speed up your metabolism, but adjust your carbs to what u need i.e your size u're goals IP: Logged |
