You're probably going through veins in your shoulder, where there is a much denser gathering of veins than in the glute or quad. IP: Logged |

it doesnt mean that u inj into a vein, but whay risking it when doing it into the shoulder (more chance of blood vescles & nerve) i wouldnt do sus anywhere exept the glute. IP: Logged |

Why do you put it in your shoulder? I tried it a few times and could not lift my arm over my head. Use your ass or your thigh. The blood is no big deal unless when you pull back the stopper blood enters the syringe. Also after you have checked that there is no blood in the needle do not push forward or pull the needle back. I have done that a few times and then you don't know where it went. L8R IP: Logged |

Common or not depends on how and where you do the injection. As the bros said, put sus in your ass. I've had a few gushers but after a while you get a few favorite spots and just rotate between them. AY IP: Logged |

I agree, Put Sus in your ass. The shit causes too much soreness and there's more fat in the ass than the shoulder or thigh to absorb the blow. IP: Logged |

Delts are fine blood in syringe AFTER injection is fine blood BEFORE injection means you hit a vein- pick a new site and start over. larger the muscle, typically the better the absorption, but this varies considerably- my advice try different sites- three most accepted are glutes, quads, and delts- some people can use triceps- but I dont recommend it- calves, biceps and pecs should be used with extreme caution, I BELIEVE THAT THEY SHOULD NOT BE USED AT ALL. btw- use 25g whenever possible- less likely to get blood- less trauma. ------------------ IP: Logged |

There is nothing wrong with injecting inthe shoulder. What is wrong is that most just don't know how to do it. I had to get a cortizone shot in my shoulder once, so I was lucky to have seen it done. Place your hand on your shoulder. Feel for the bone at the top. Place the needle about a 1/4 of an inch below the tip of the bone, move the neddle slightly to the posterior (back side) about 1/8 of an inch. It's tricky, and it's a lot easier to have someone else do it, but it will go in smooth....blood after an injection is not uncommon, but if you are feeling a lot of pain after doing a shoulder injection, you are probably to close to the anterior (front) of the shoulder. If your arm cramps up, you injected too close to the anterior deltoid. Hope this helps...A perfect hit will go in between the posterior and anterior....Ask E2 to help you...... IP: Logged |
