Its just another article trying to give steriods some bad press. Just thought someone might want to read this. I thought it was bullshit. www.healthscout.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/Af.woa/4/wo/Ao5000xO300Y4100Aw/0.0.11.1.8.1.24.1.0 IP: Logged |

It is just the same thing they say about pot. Smoke pot then you'll smoke crack. ------------------ IP: Logged |

the general public is so uniformed about steriods. That's why it has such a bad name. IP: Logged |

With certain individuals I can see linking pot to future heroin use, but it is ridiculous to link steroids to heroin. First of all, people take steroids to get big, cut , and strong. heroin makes you a strung out skinny little vagina....The personality of a steroid user is much different than that of a heroin user, the fact that somebody would dare make a connection pisses me off. Bro's, For those of you out there bashing the scientific community about this article. Let me give you a little food for thought. I am bodybuilder and have and will continue to use A/S. For those of you that can honestly say that there are not withdrawal symptoms I am amazed. While, like most of us, I don't like to see the government coming up with new and interesting reasons to impinge on our personal freedom. There is validity to what this article is saying. There are withdrawal symptoms and A/S users are not afraid to use needles. When I was younger and less wise I fell into this category. I became a prescription pain killer abuser/user for the same reasons that are listed in the article. I know that, like most addiction, this was all due to mental weakness but the majority of the population does not recognize the distinction. I know I am going to get charbroiled for presenting a disenting opinion here, but I thought some fresh ideas might be welcomed by some. There is one huge point that I found stunning and it' the point about dealers selling both gear and hard street drugs thus leading to a connection between the two. I think that this statement is an echoing excuse for the legalization and control of drugs in The U.S.. It's simple, get gear off the streets and out of dealers hands and we will be able to eliminate a large portion of crossover users as well as the ability to educate and promote safe use of now illegal substances. Flame away. Crash IP: Logged |
