Blue cross picked up my whole tab. The doc sent them a letter telling them the pain I was in and that it was medically necesary. When you go to the doc, make sure that you have them nice and plump. I used a bunch of suspension leading up to my visit. When he touch them, I winced in pain like a little bitch so he would think I was in pain. 5 wks later they were gone. IP: Logged |

One of my boys went 2days ago to get the surgery done. He got it pretty bad too. But his insurance didn't pick up the tab. Fuck them, we pay 'em so much damn money and when it comes to forking out a little they get stingy! IP: Logged |

Presbyterian paid for the removal of my gyno which was only on one side. I pretty much did the same thing as massmonster2 except for making it worse before going in to see the doc. Had it removed in Feb. and all is well. By the way I got it from using that Muscletech phormone shit................................."B" IP: Logged |

All you have to do is have your doc write your insurance a letter saying your in serious pain and its giving you mental problems and that your severly depressed. it worked for me . i payed my co pay 50 bucks and my gyno was gone in a week. hope this helped. p.s. dont let this minor set back keep you from gettin swole! p.P.S. my doc also threw in lypo on my chest and i came out of surgery lookin better than ever! i went in to my doc at the age of sixteen because of a slight case of gyno during puberty and they said it wasn't bad enough to cover, i think now i am going to go in and try again and make the doc tell insurance how bad it is, and if not im not getting the surgery and hes out 5g's for not streching the truth, either that or drop 3-4 a bombs/day for a few weeks IP: Logged |

Go to the doc and tell him/her that it's painful. You can't reach over your head. It's preventing you from making a living to your full capabilities, etc, etc. Another good thing is to go to a doc that is experienced with bodybuilders. They know how to finagle the ins comps. I've heard some bad things about Nadler. There's a doctor Blau in upstate NY that's supposedly really good. The guy who told me about him had his gyno done and his wife had her breasts done by him. The doc even went to this bodybuilders wedding. [This message has been edited by doggod (edited May 19, 2000).] IP: Logged |
