I was in Venice Beach on Tuesday(5-16-00) and had lunch at Schatzi's on Main (Arnolds restaurant. I walked out around 12:00 noon and there was Arnie filming a comercial in the parking lot. He was in his black humvee and looked pretty good.There was only about (6) people around so I got up there where he was. After he finished, I spoke to him and he was very polite and cordial. A really great guy. Also, if you eat at Schatzi's, ask for Monika to be your waitress. She does and excellent job. The food and atmosphere are excellent. I also saw one of the Paul brothers(a.k.a Barbarian Twins) at the LA Urban Fitness Shop across from Schatzi's. Which ever brother this was has shrunk to almost nothing. He is little and almost looks as if he has never lifted a weight. He does not resemble himself from days gone by. He truly looked bad. IP: Logged |

I was down in Venice about 3 weeks ago. I saw Chris Cormier, Roland Kicklinger, some other pro (cant remember his name, but he looked like a freakin' juggernaut!) and one of the Paul Brothers. I like it down there. Nice atmosphere, great restaurants (the Firehouse rocks) and everyone is into working out. I always see those cheeseball barbarian brothers at the golds on Venice. They work out in "Flashdance" outfits with work boots and long nasty-ass hair. I once saw one of them doing one side ofthe pec deck with one hand and talking on a cel phone with the other- it doesnt get any cheesier. That same day I saw Jean Claude Van Damn. And I was bigger than him! Plus I figured out his secret: Get your friends to help stuff you into a T-shirt made for an eight year old- if you're not bulgin' your probably dead! heh heh heh.
