![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() POWERCLEAN: I pull the weight as high as possible and get my body underneith it when I catch. When I max I drop clear down to an ass dragging front squat, but during reps I pull it high. It depends on how much weight. The best bet for football is pulling and catching it as high as possible with minimal front squat. (To simulate explosion and power in football) Front squats, the snatch, clean pulls, snatch pulls, jerks, and push presses are just as important for developing football specific strength. All these lifts combined with the traditional power lifts make an all aroud super athlete. Add some juice with these lifts and the results are unbeleivable! IP: Logged |
