There is a misconception on what can be seized at the border. If you own the car, it is in your name or someones name that is in the car you have a far greater chance of loosing your car but that is still a long shot especially if you only have a 90 day supply. They will give you shit, take your gear and fine you but that is about it. I would thing the rental car would be the best bet. They cannot seize a rental car unless the rental company is in a conspiracy (sp) with you...My brother-in-law is with the FDA and he is now stationed at the border crossing at Laredo...levi IP: Logged |
