I was just wanting to get some feedback on wheather I should work the same muscles twice a week. Right now i'm on a cycle of test cyp. No matter how hard I work my muscles in the gym it does not feel like they are being trained hard enough. I know everybodys bodys are different when it comes to what works for their bodys but i just need some personal opinions to help me out. I'm really wondering if it is just a psychological problem with thinking their not being trained enough. Thanks for any feedback.---PEACE--- IP: Logged |

Currently, I train each muscle group once a week. But it is good to switch back and forth between once a week and twice a week to keep shocking muscles. I'm going to switch back to twice a week once I start my next cycle since you're muscles recover quicker. IP: Logged |

Major muscles(Chest, quads,) only 1X every six days. Smaller ones like bi's,tri's can handle a second day if you really want to. Gear will make you able to do a little more as you will recover faster. IP: Logged |

I wish i could train each muscle twice a week, i only train them once a week. --Its good to train each muscle twice a week, but as long as you give 48-72 hours rest before you train that muscle again. IP: Logged |

I have to train everything twice a week, or else I lose size and strength fast. I change it up a bit once in a while, but definitely cannot do something like train one body part per day for 5 days, and then take a day or two off. If I did that, I'd end up weighin' 185#, and weaker than hell. IP: Logged |

I've been working chest twice aweek for about a month and it's really developed my pecs and my bench has increased by 10 lbs but i'm about to stop it and go back to once aweek because i've aggravated an old injury. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I am for the most part twice per week. 3 on, 1 off. Listen to your body if you work chest on Monday and the soreness is not gone by your next chest day, Thursday on my schedule, take another rest day. IP: Logged |

I BELIEVE IN TRAINING MAJOR MUSCLE GROUPS ONLY ONCE A WEEK FOR MAXIMUM SIZE....MUSCLES NEED TIME TO RECOUP....ONCE IN AWHILE I FEEL ITS OK TO DO A BODYPART 2X A WEEK 4 VARIATION....OTHERWISE I TRY TO AVOID IT IP: Logged |

If you were to do chest as intense as possible you should take a good 5 days (min) before doing it again. I am assuming that you've been working out for 4/5 years. Once you get to this point the rest will do more than getting in another chest day. I am also assuming you are going heavy and very intense. Sometimes different things work better for different people though... IP: Logged |
