Do NOT use canthaxanthin. It WILL make you look orange and you will have orange hands and feet that shine bright after it leaves the rest of your body because it gets stuck forever in the subcutaneous fat in your palms and feet... and especially in callouses on your big toe and hands. There are other pills and so on. Some of the self-tanners work better than they used to - apparently the ones rich people use are better than the Coppertone version LOL. My wife has used Neutrogena self-tanner with good effects. IP: Logged |

For me it lasted 3 months but little bits of it lasted 2 years, no joke. I got questions and comments like: "Are you an Orangeman?" (from softball teammates) "Have you been finger painting again?" (from hockey teammates) "Been eating a lot of carrots?" (softball again) Next-door neighbor, a 70-year-old chainsmoker, offering me a butt for no apparent reason (stained hands)... If you want a summer of humiliation, just go ahead and use this crap!!! I remember trying to cover my hands in dust from the ball diamond so people wouldn't laugh at me! Really, these commercial self tanners work much better, but you'll probably screw those up the first few times you try them... ask a few ladies and search the net for proper techniques... it can be done. Use the expensive stuff - it works better and smells better. You aren't going to want to hear this, but to use a self tanner you will need a PUFF! in the shower to get rid of dead skin cells first!
