well learned a lot and over dieted ( i knew this was happening and learned a valuable lesson)but ripped and very hard but in the end took 2nd place in my first show. Had the pleasure of being presented trophy by Ronnie Coleman. man is he huge Have deceided to by pass south texas and take some time off to get my head back on straight. This contest cost me alot including the breakup of a relationship, money ( lots of money), and walking around like a zombie for gods knows how long.My bodyfat is 2.3 % and i feel like shit. Will be back to compete again but if there is any advise to be learned do it for fun and enjoy every moment you have getting ready. Don't let it control your life because the bottom line to always remenber is we can't all be pro's and life should be fun.Don't let it breakup a relationship as the most important thing in life is having a great person by your side and not a trophy. (i learned a valuable lesson being so consumed for this show) I wish to thank my good friends Mr @ Mrs guns who where there for me at all times and helped get me through my breakup and just to listen. I am blessed to have folks like them them in my lives and I know they will both be on stage together because they are a great loving couple who suppourt each other. and to all of you that sent e mails passing on suppourt thanks. Now its time to rest and get things back in order but as those fasmous words say" I'LL BE BACK" Pictures should appear on interent sights will let ya know as they do, Peace IP: Logged |

hey bro good job. the important thing is that you learned a valuable lesson from all of this : LIFE is what matters. I go through the same things. Me and my girl have many more problems during contest season, but she is a wonderful woman and she understands. As far as the overdieting goes, we have all done that and next time you will know. Make sure that you write everything down so you know for next time. Once again, CONGRATS and don't get down on yourself 2nd in your first show is great!! I was always told you might think that you look great, but the fun of the sport is that you never know who is going to show up? There is always a better bodybuilder or some freak that has to requalify for nationals. IP: Logged |

Flexed1, I just want to let you know how truly proud we are of you. You were the true winner last night. If they judged on pure dedication, hard work, and desire, you would have taken all trophies home last night! Hope you are getting some kind of rest and hopefully EATING!!!!!! It was a religious experience for us to throw out all your rice cakes and diet food!!!!!! Felt good, didn't it!!!!! You truly deserve this time off to (as Mr. Guns says) to stop, re-load, and re-mount!!! Mrs. Guns IP: Logged |
