Yeah, I actually prefer to do incline vs. flat bench. Flat bench kills my shoulders. I've never maxed on incline, but can do reps (5-7) with 225# +/- 10#.

After doing flat benchpress first in my chest workout i changed it around. did incline, then falt dumbell..and the improvment in my chest was amazing
Ive never maxed out, i never do, but 220 sounds like a fair bet

I separate bench and incline since both are vital exercises in my opinion. I bench Mondays and incline on Thursdays....Don't discount inclines, they are a great lift...I never maxed out, but my best is 330 for 3 reps.

Since the upper chest is so much harder to develope, I usually stick to incline. I dont do much barbell, but in the past ive done approx 300lbs. I like to stick with DB where i stay near the 130's

Yeah he was kidding but it was funny.

Max incline: 315. I mostly do dumbbells on it anyway, 100s or 105s in general.

wow, i thought i was the only one who rarely did flat benches. being 6'6 i have to spread my arms so wide apart. i stick to inclines for the most part. through in some flys occasionaly. but inclines all the way.now i don't feel so different.

My God, Cornfed. You're a bloody giant. 500+ lbs for incline is brilliant.

Good going.
