well its now friday and i did my shot of enanthate on sunday and my ass still hurts and its swollen under the skin, alot more than usual. and i noticed that alot more blood came out when i stuck myself..also a vein behind my kneecap has been swollen since then too...is it possible that this vein is the one that runs into my but that i possibly hit...anyone have this happpen before IP: Logged |

Did you aspire? I have had my ass do that before, it swelled up all the way to my lower back. Could not sleep, hard to sit down. Anyway, i know I did not hit a vein, I think I jabbed a nerve or something. Never had a problem since. IP: Logged |

PDS...That is a bullshit thing to say to a board brother....who in the hell are you to judge what he does or does not know? As for your injection, I did a shot of sust 3 days ago in my left glute. Yesterday it started to swell and hurt like hell. I massaged the site last night and it's much better today. TOnight I will ice it and massage again. For now I have gone back to the right glute for injections......until things feel better on the left. Our brothers of the board believe I hit a nerve during the injection. i'm pretty sure if you hit a nerve you would definitly know it. (i think you should feel instant PAIN!!!) ..you should always pull back on the needle before pushing it in to check for any blood, then you won't have a problem with veins. IP: Logged |

I agree, I think you would have known if you hit a nerve. The sciatic nerve does run right through the glute, but from what I understand, you would have felt almost an instant "temporary paralysis" in that region down through your leg. I am not speaking from experience, as I am still a virgin, but over the last 10 years I have read volumes on the subject. Hope you get better soon. IP: Logged |
