I read alot of posts done by Cjac. Seems like he enjoys the benefits of using insulin. Is it really that anabolic? If I would only use Insulin would I be able to build muscle without fat? I read the article by Goerge Spelling on getting cut with Insulin, and fat burners with triax. Any thoughts? Are the side effects over-rated from insulin use? IP: Logged |

Is it bad to talk about insulin use? It always seems my messages pertaining to them get deleted. IP: Logged |

"Intending users should also be aware that insulin stimulates lipid (fat) synthesis from carbohydrate ("lipogenesis"), decreases fatty acid release from tissues ("lipolysis") and leads to a net increase in total body lipid stores. The development of such increased body fat stores runs counter to the training goals of most body builders, athletes and those seeking to improve their physical appearance." How does it build muscle?? IP: Logged |

Okay, insulin has a positive effect on muscle protein by three different path ways. First off it has been shown to be anticatabolic. It decreases the rate at which muscle protein is broken down. Second insulin increases the transport of amino acids across the cell membrane. Third, and this is under debate in the current scientific literature, insulin has been proposed to increase the rate of protein synthisis - the building of muscle. This final point is in contention because most of the studies, along with insulin have introduced high serum concentrations of amino acids as well into the blood. The elevated level of amino acids on their own in some cases have been shown to be enough of a stimulus to increase protein synthesis. Insulin is refered to as one of the most anabolic substances currently available, but remember, anabolic referes to tissue building, that's all tissues not just muscle, fat is included. This is primarly due to insulins first action, the increased recurtment of transporters to the cell membrane. If you do decide to experiment with insulin it is best to use it in conjuction with a steriod that primarily increases the rate of protein synthesis, like d-bol. Combined with a diet high in protein, the insulin will result in a greater proportion of aminio acids being transported across the cell membrane to participate in protein formation. How ever, a large consumption of carbohydrates will result in large amounts of energy (fat) to be transported across the fat cell membranes. Before you decide to try insulin make sure that you have done alot of reading on how in works, how much you should take and what to expect. Always remember that insulin will do one of three things to you: 1)Make you huge 2)Make you fat 3)Make you dead ------------------ IP: Logged |

I would suspect if one uses it post-workout when protein and carb uptake is primed and fat disposition is largely negated and also in conjunction with GH fat accumulation would be minimal (or fat could be lost with the GH)....this is what I'm going to do (with serious anabolics of course and possible some PGF2a post-workout which is also kills fat cells) IP: Logged |

Rocko's right. Inject too much and you will fall into a hypoglycemic induced coma. Definitely not good. If you do use insulin, it might not be a bad idea to tell someone when you do it, just in case something goes wrong, they can get you to a hospital. Not trying to scare you, just sharing what I know. Let us know what you decide. IP: Logged |
