I had arthroscopy done on my left shoulder to repair a slap lesion and bone spur along with ligament damage in November of last year. I had been in pain for three years and I finally resolved to have it repaired. After working with rubber bands for three months I have started training again for the last two weeks lifting light with good form rather than trying just to push heavy weight. I love skullcrushers but I suspect these are causing a problem. Does anybody have experience with recovering from this type of surgery. I am hurting again and the pain is very familiar. I am going to start anti-inflamatory medication and keep it light. In addition does anyone have suggestions as to what would be a good replacement for skullcrushers that gives the same pump to the tri's? I am very concerned that my training days are over. I hope someone has good news about their experience with shoulder surgery and returning to BB. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this for advice. Crash

probabaly lightening the weight and using stricter form will help alot .. try keeping your shoulderblades pinched together during the movement that usually helps me isolate the Tri and not use too much shoulder... also keep doing your rubberband excercises...and also add to you workout internal and external rotator cuff... i usually do 4X10 on the pully machine with the pully about waist high.... same thing light weight and strict form....

Have you tried the moveement with DB's ? I have never liked skulls. I use overhead rope extensions alot, if you use very srtict form in will give you that pump you're looking for.

So I take it yall are familiar with or have had shoulder surgery. I sure hope I didn't have that operation just to screw it up again. I am not going to stop training again. I'll just deal with the pain rather than give it up again. I am going to try it with Dumbells though. Thanks for the advice.
