A friend of mine in college tore his pec while doing bench press. It made a huge lump tword his nipple and he could not lift the bar at all, I had to hold the bar till we could get some people to help lift it up onto the rack. It was 405 we were maxing out. By the time we got the bar back up, his pec started to turn black and swelled in about a four inch line close to his nipple. It stayed a black color for about two weeks. I don't know how it felt sorry about that part. L8R IP: Logged |

Dude, I dont know bout a torn pec and all but I know I havent worked my chest out in 2 fukin weeks, cuz I strained a muscle or some shit. Something to do with the cartiladge that connects the sternum and ribs. It sucks man!!!! I cant work shoulders or back either and I might have to stop working my arms until this shit heals ------------------ IP: Logged |

Been there and done that. If you had a major tear you would have known it. It is possible that you have a muscular tear. Either way go and see a doc and get an MRI. Any damage here that goes unchecked will allow the muscle to retract away from the tear and cause scar tissue. Thanks to a very incompitent doc, my tear was not repaired for over a year. During the surgery they had to cut back part of the muscle to clear the scar tissue....that opens up a whole new can of worms. Email me if you need more info. BPP IP: Logged |
