I need some help! I am trying to help my little bro with some gains this summer. The problem is that he is 17, and has the metabolism of a rabbit in heat. He's about 6' and 140 lbs. I've tried a lot of lifting programs, but I've got to get him on some supplements, too. Any suggestions? What about lifting programs? He is the definition of "hard gainer."

fuck the supplements (besides protein powder)...MAKE THE KID EAT. THEN MAKE HIM EAT SOME MORE. personally, i don't think think there's any reason for anyone to be a hardgainer...everyone makes it out to be harder than it is. it's simple...shove food down his throat every 2 1/2 hours and if that isn't possible than have him chug a meal replacement or protein shake. if he's not gaining weight, make him eat even more and see if he's overtraining. repeat process until weight is gained.
