Here's the deal. Unimed got the drug through FDA and will have it out by mid summer. You rub it on your shoulders/upper arms, and/or abdomen once daily. It comes in 5mg 7mg and 10mg which will put up to 100mg Test into you steadily throughout a 24hour period. You then reapply it the next day, and so on. It gets into your system in about 30 minutes (I know what you're thinking--rub prior to workkout). I think it should send your workouts through the roof. I don't think the sides will be anywhere near as pronounced as with the injectable Test--although I just don't know as I have (sadly)experienced neither. Anyway more information is available at unimed.com. Read the products section as well as the clinical trials. You will be equally impressed. I am just chomping at the bit to score some of this stuff. Hope my Dr. is open to a 29 year old seeking "hormome therepy". If not, maybe someone out there knows a Dr. who is more open minded.

Theres already a creme on the market called Testocreme, do a search by name on your web browser and you'll find it. According to the doctor its supposed to be 10% vs 1% for the Androgel but their both going to be hard to get. And not to flame or anything but how does a 5,7 or 10mg dose put 100mg sustained into your system, is this that new math.

In response to higher math, I only reported what I read in Time mag. It says the same thing on the Unimed.com website. Maybe the size of the packet is 5, 7, or 10 mg. I don't know. Maybe because of the way it's slowly released into the bloodstream, 1mg does not equal 1 mg. Again I don't know. Would love first hand experience. Until then, I just write them as I see them.

Actually the reason that they put "do not apply to the genitals" is because there used to be a dermatological testosterone replacement therapy that should only "be applied to a shaved scrotal area" I think it was testo-derm. That is why they all come out and say not to put anything down there. If you look at androderm or any of the other creams it will say the same thing.

Here's how they do it:

If you read the unimed site, it says that 10g delivers 100 mg of testosterone.

10g = 10,000mg
1% of 10,000 = 100

therefore 100 mg.

Read it more closely!

yes i read about it in the time magazine article last week or so it is supposed to be twice more efficient than the injectible because it is supposedly to get into the bloodstream more they said it will make the injectible obsolete as for myself i think i would stay with the injectible until i see positive proof of the rub-on

I don't know something sounds fishy here. 100mg a day is 700mg per week. And then they say this gets into your system better than injectables? Think about this for a minute, thats like taking more than 3/4 of a gram (if its absorb better) of test every week for life, because its for hypogonadism. What about receptor downgrade? How many of us would survice on this much every week? Liver damage, kidney damage, prostrate problems!!!
