For those who have already opened up the attachment LOVELETTER.VBS, here's
the instruction on how to remove the virus from your system.

1) Click on Start | Run, key in regedit
2) Go to the following location :
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\"
3) Delete the entry called "MSKernel32"
4) Go to the following location :
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices\"
5) Delete the entry called "Win32DLL"
6) Reboot the computer
7) Search for the file "MSKernel32.vbs", and DELETE it.
8) Search for the file "Win32DLL.vbs", and DELETE it.
9) Search for the file "LOVE-LETTER-FOR-YOU.TXT.vbs", and DELETE it.
10) Search for the file "LOVE-LETTER-FOR-YOU.TXT.htm", and DELETE it.
11) Reboot the computer again. Virus is now removed.

In addition, it has also changed your Internet Explorere's Default Home
Page. To resolve that, make sure you do not start IE, and do the following :
1) Go to Control Panel, double-click on Internet Options
2) Change the Home Page to something else.

If you have already done that, do the following
1) Click on Start | Run, key in regedit
2) Go to the following location :
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\"
3) Delete the entry "WIN-BUGSFIX"
4) Reboot the Computer.
5) Search for the file "WIN-BUGSFIX.exe" and DELETE it.
6) Reboot the computer again.

In addition to that, refrain from going to these 2 sites (related to the
ILOVEU virus) :-
1) www.skyinet.net
2) www.mirc.com
