i have been injecting in my shoulder now for 5 weeks i follow all the guidelines but i have a question when i pull back on plunger i get a very small amount of blood come in now i was wondering if this ok i doubt i am in a vein because i would figure it would really fill up thanks IP: Logged |

from what i read if you get blood in the pullback its a vein....switch to your ass...its the best spot....stay in the upper outer portion- least nerves & blood vessels. IP: Logged |

I shoot in the delts all the time. I never get any blood in the syringe when i aspirate. Shoot three fingers up from the bottom of the delt at a 90-degee angle. I tend to go at a 1" depth. - Go Fast Man IP: Logged |

my pins are 5/8 ths and like i said it is just a very small amount of blood is it possible to get blood in syringe without bieng in vein IP: Logged |

It is possible to get blood without being in vein. I don't understand why anyone would want to use the shoulder. The muscle is too small for anything but the smallest doses. There is also a much greater chance of a problem. If you use the glutes you don't have to worry about anything. I can't imagine how bad it would feel to have scar tissue in your shoulder.
