unless they gave there real name you might have a hard time. if its a pak mail or mail etc. you might try intimidating it out of the clerk or pretend your a cop. It is my experience that most mailbox outlets are run by newcomers to our country and they might be open to coercion. either that or wait at the box till the person shows :-) IP: Logged |

You could go and pretend that you are the owner of the box. Just give the postal attendant the box number and tell him its time to pay for another year and youre there to do so. Perhaps he will ask for ID, in that case you say you forgot it and leave. OR, perhaps he will say are you "such and such" person? Or he will give you a paper to fill out with that persons name already registered to the box printed on it. But, I think for this to work you'ld have to be in the post office where the PO box actually is physically located, not any other. Just a shot in the dark. By the way check your email. IP: Logged |

Omegalos you are a sneaky fucker.... that is what I was going to suggest....however i was going to throw in the twist that you were a partner in the company (drop company name a few times) and you needed to upgrade your box to a bigger one and confuse them by asking alot of questions on sizes and prices and they will probaly forget they never did ID you good luck VK IP: Logged |

well, this is going to be hard to do. The best bet is to go to the post office and wait. But that takes time and I don't think you're in the same location. I know when I go to check my own po box and don't have my key I get the run around. And that's with them seeing my ID. The postal people are asses where I'm at! But I think the best thing to do would be what ironmaster suggested: send something express or certified or whatever--something that needs a signature. Just make it some bogus letter. Send it and hopefully it will come back to you because it's the wrong box #. You could then call up the post office, tell them this is very urgent, some business matter that needs immediate attention. Tell them you have this box #, and that you thought that you had the name correct. Tell them you know for sure it's the correct box number, but aren't sure about the name. Ask them if they could supply you the name so you could send it again. Tell them you really need this done because it's worth so much $$--the business deal. Tell them you need a signature on it though because it's sensitive documents. Who knows.... I think it's worth a shot if you can't do anything else. But I don't know if they'll be asses like they are at my post office or if they will be cool. Oh, and be sure to thank them.
