I NEVER DID CARDIO BEFORE ,BUT I WANT TO START. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW MUCH CARDIO IS GOOD TO DO FOR SOMEON 6'1 220 POUNDS.AND HOW MANY DAYS A WEEK.THANKS FELLAS.

20 minutes a day 3 days a week at 75% maxo2

first of all, the true deffinition of cardio is, to get your heart rate up to 90% of its full capasity, then keep it there for at least 20min!

you cant just walk on the tread mill for 20min 3X a week and call that cardio!

at your height and weight i would jog at about 6.5 mph on a tread mill for about 30min 3x a week.

I wouldn't suggest doing anything higher than moderate cardio 3 or 4 x a week is fine but a brisk to fast walk is enough. If you do high pace cardio say good by to some of that hard earned muscle you've worked so hard for. Target heart rates don't mean shit if your a BB.
